Role Overview

As a Program Manager at mooPay, you will be responsible for driving high-impact initiatives across multiple functions – strategy, product, operations, risk, and partnerships. You will act as the bridge between leadership, field teams, and external partners (banks, NBFCs, dairies, insurers), ensuring smooth execution of projects, strong governance, and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Management & Execution
    • Own end-to-end planning and execution of strategic initiatives (new loan products, partnerships, insurance pilots, digital modules).
    • Define success metrics, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Risk, Collections, Operations, and Tech teams.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders — banks, NBFCs, dairy partners, insurance companies, and policy advisors.
    • Track partner requirements, follow through on documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory norms.
  • Process & Portfolio Management
    • Support design and monitoring of credit, risk, and collection processes.
    • Analyze portfolio data (disbursements, collection efficiency, PAR, GLP) to provide actionable insights for leadership and investors.
    • Identify gaps, propose improvements, and implement best practices to reduce TAT and improve efficiency.
  • Product & Innovation
    • Collaborate with product and tech teams to design and roll out modules.
    • Work closely with field teams to capture farmer feedback and translate it into product improvements.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Prepare investor/partner decks, due diligence documents, and internal dashboards.
    • Draft and review agreements (NDAs, MOUs, BC agreements, insurance tie-ups) in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in program management, consulting, financial services, or agri-fintech (experience in rural banking/NBFCs/insurance/agri-tech preferred).
  • Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
  • Understanding of rural/agri ecosystems, credit underwriting, or insurance will be a strong advantage.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to shape the future of rural fintech and dairy credit in India.
  • High-ownership role working directly with leadership and impact investors.
  • Collaborative and mission-driven work culture.
  • Competitive compensation with growth opportunities.
