Through partnerships with dairies, lenders, and insurers, mooPay is transforming how rural households access finance, from cattle purchase loans to climate insurance.


Role Overview

The Operations Executive will support the smooth functioning of mooPay’s core operations in credit, payments, and insurance. The role involves managing back-end processes, coordinating with field teams and partners, and ensuring accuracy in daily transactions and reporting. This is a process-oriented execution role suitable for detail-oriented professionals who want to build a career in rural fintech operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Operations
    • Process loan applications and ensure accurate documentation.
    • Support disbursement coordination with lenders and field teams.
    • Track repayments and update loan management systems.
  • Payments Operations
    • Assist in managing dairy-linked deductions and payment settlements.
    • Handle reconciliations, transaction validations, and error resolution.
    • Maintain accurate MIS for payment inflows and outflows.
  • Insurance Operations
    • Support cattle and life insurance policy issuance and premium collection.
    • Track claim requests, coordinate with insurers, and update status dashboards.
    • Maintain records of policies and ensure TAT compliance.
  • Process & Coordination
    • Liaise with Regional/Area Managers and Field Officers for operational support.
    • Ensure timely resolution of queries from lenders, insurers, and dairies.
    • Maintain compliance with mooPay’s policies and partner requirements.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Prepare and update daily/weekly/monthly MIS across credit, payments, and insurance.
    • Assist in internal and external reporting for management, partners, and auditors.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, back-office, or process management (preferably in NBFC, fintech, banking, or insurance).
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic data analysis.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Management or related fields.
